1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, using the platform, or continuing to access any CBTify service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and Access
- You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials secure.
- Association admins and chapter leaders must ensure only authorized staff can access their dashboards.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or credential compromise.
3. Platform Services
- CBTify provides online exam hosting, association provisioning, chapter workflows, results processing, and administrative dashboards.
- Features may change over time as we add new capabilities or improve existing ones.
- We may perform maintenance or emergency updates that temporarily affect availability.
4. Exam Integrity
- You must not cheat, share answers, bypass timers, interfere with proctoring features, or attempt to manipulate results.
- We may log activity, session metadata, and submission events to secure the assessment process.
- We may suspend or invalidate sessions where misconduct is detected or reasonably suspected.
5. Payments and Fees
- Some services require payment before activation, including association provisioning and certain platform bundles.
- Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Paystack. Their separate terms may also apply.
- Unless we state otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a service has been provisioned or delivered.
6. Uploaded Content
You are responsible for any content or documents you upload, including question files, association letters, IDs, notices, and profile details. You must only upload material you have the legal right to use and share.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or scan the service without permission.
- Do not use the service to distribute malware, spam, or unauthorized content.
8. Intellectual Property
CBTify, its design, software, and platform content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, the platform is being misused, or continued access would create risk to users or the service.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes should be raised first through our support channels so we can try to resolve them quickly and fairly.
